The Cove Inn is a hot bed of great live music acts like Miss Emily from Kingston and Steve Mariner from Ottawa. It is home of Blues on the Rideau that features some of Canada's best blues artists.

There is also a thriving and talented local scene of musicians that you will find playing at the Westport Brewery, Scheuermann's Winery or the Lost Penny Pub.

Don't forget about the Westport Music Festival the 3rd week in August or Westporch featuring over 20 acts playing on front porches all around the village the 3rd weekend in September.

Nice People and Good Dogs Always Welcome
I'm am more than happy to host you and your best friend at my pet friendly accommodations but I do have a few requirements:

Please let me know ahead of time that you are bringing a pet and be aware that ticks are everywhere around this area.
For everyone's safety, make sure your dog is protected and that you check your dog and yourself for ticks before bringing them inside after a walk on the trails.
​
Please walk your dog after a long car ride and before entering my house - there is a nice little park across the road with containers to deposit dog waste
​
Please bring your own blanket or dog bed for your pet to sleep on or or use one of the quilts in the closet
